Barbara Greving is committed to the portraiture of dogs. Her paintings reflect the passion for excellence that Greving has demonstrated as a practicing portrait artist for over twenty-five years. Greving's studies include both human and canine anatomy, classical realism and the Flemish technique. Barbara Greving is a devoted dog lover and dog owner.

The studio features three separate collections of art: Classic Tails takes a specific breed of dog that includes the Beagle, Boston Terrier, Pug, Cocker Spaniel and English Bulldog, carefully and purposefully selected, and places it in a famous historical masterpiece; Escapades (coming soon) depicts dogs in every day adventures, often far-fetched, telling fanciful stories; Commissioned Portraits of dogs are accepted on a limited basis and are done in the same manner and technique as the other two collections.
